Seminar to consider LRA 2002 update proposals

The Cambridge Centre for Property Law, the Cambridge Centre for Private Law and the Property & Trusts section of the Society of Legal Scholars held a seminar at Lincoln's Inn to discuss response to the Law Commission's proposals to update the Land Registration Act 2002. 

Contributions focused on priority issues, rectification and indemnity, protection of interests by notice and restrictions, adverse possession and owners powers.

The SLS will formulate a joint response to the consultation proposals.
