CCPL, the Cambridge Centre for Private Law and the Society of Legal Scholars host seminar on Updating the Land Registration Act 2002

The Cambridge Centre for Property Law, the Cambridge Centre for Private Law and the Property & Trusts section of the Society of Legal Scholars hosted a seminar at Lincoln's Inn on the Law Commission's proposals for Updating the Land Registration Act 2002.

Topics for discussion included the priority rules, rectification and indemnity, protecting third party interests by Notice and Restriction, adverse possession and Schedule 6 and owner's powers under ss.23 ad 24 LRA 2002.

The SLS will submit a response to the Law Commission.
